Thank you for your interest in SACGHS' Draft Report on Gene Patents and Licensing Practices and Their Impact on Patient Access to Genetic Tests. The public comment period closed May 15, 2009. During the summer of 2009, SACGHS will be reviewing the public comments and any relevant new data and revising the report accordingly. The final draft report and recommendations will be discussed at SACGHS' October 2009 meeting. Although SACGHS is no longer seeking public comments on the consultation draft, that document and its appendices will be available at the SACGHS Documents page until the final report is posted.
